CHRIS BACA – Executive Director
Chris provides leadership for all phases of operations, with special emphasis on long-range planning, program impact, client services and community partnerships. This includes overseeing and ensuring coordination of programs, staff, service delivery, community relations, marketing, fundraising, events, board relations and volunteer activities. He brings to Meals On Wheels West a passion for working with underserved communities. His extensive non-profit experience includes his role as Regional Director for Community Healthy Charities of America overseeing efforts in nine states in the Western Region. Mr. Baca also served as Executive Director for Community Healthy Charities California working in Los Angeles, Ventura and Santa Barbara counties with a variety of clients including Kaiser, Toyota and the City of Los Angeles. A longtime music business executive at Capitol Records/EMI, leading music business consultant and artist manager he brings an entrepreneurial spirit to MOW West. A graduate of SAMOHI and a longtime resident of the Westside, Chris is excited to bring his leadership skills to Meals On Wheels West.

KEVIN MCNULTY – Associate Executive Director

Meals on Wheels West Associate Executive Director Kevin McNultyKevin’s eighteen years of experience at Meals On Wheels West has familiarized him with every aspect of Meals on Wheels’ operations and programs. He assists the Executive Director and Board of Directors in the completion of approved initiatives ensuring the success of MOW West’s mission. Kevin has expertise in direct mail, human resources, program administration, policy and procedures.

ELLEN RABIN – Development Director

Ellen Rabin, Development DirectorEllen is responsible for preparation of requests for funding to foundations, corporations and government agencies. She leads outreach in the community, events and development.  Ellen is a professional in non-profit management working for 30 years in a variety of settings including the City of Los Angeles, Yale University, Vista del Mar and The Jewish Federation. Ellen earned a double Masters in Public Administration and Community Service from USC and Hebrew Union College. She excels at grant writing, program design and evaluation. Ellen has an excellent overview of community issues and programs and is an articulate, knowledgeable

JOANNA VASQUEZ – Director of Operations

Meals on Wheels West Director of Volunteers and Office Manager Joanna VasquezJoanna is the heart and soul of Meals On Wheels West. For more than 20 years she has coordinated the dispatch of volunteers out to the 20+ daily MOW West routes to deliver food and friendship. Joanna welcomes and trains new volunteers, problem solves and organizes the many logistical pieces that keep the meals rolling.

ANGELINA HOWE – Client Coordinator

angelaAngel Howe is responsible for communications with current and potential clients. Angel responds to clients’ needs including special meal preferences, and delivery scheduling. She receives all incoming client inquiries and conducts intake interviews. Angel is the liaison to client’s primary physicians, verifying special diet requirements. Angel’s patience, understanding and kind demeanor has endeared her to clients and volunteers alike.
