chris-baca CHRIS BACA – Executive Director
Providing leadership for all phases of the organization’s operations, with special emphasis on long-range goals, growth, profit, and return on investment. This includes overseeing and ensuring coordination of all fundraising, advertising, client and volunteer recruitment and retention, service delivery, public and community relations and board administration.

Chris Baca, the new Executive Director, brings to Meals On Wheels West a passion for working with communities in need. His extensive non-profit experience includes his role as Executive Director for Community Healthy Charities of America overseeing efforts in nine states which make up the Western Region. Mr. Baca also served as Development Director for Community Healthy Charities and worked in Los Angeles, Ventura, and Santa Barbara counties with a variety of clients including Kaiser, Toyota and the City of Los Angeles. A graduate of SAMOHI and a longtime resident of Santa Monica, Chris is excited to bring his leadership skills to Meals on Wheels West.

Meals on Wheels West Associate Executive Director Kevin McNulty KEVIN MCNULTY – Associate Executive Director
Assisting the President/CEO and Board of Directors in the completion of various initiatives and performing the daily tasks necessary to ensure the office operates according to procedures/needs.
Meals on Wheels West Director of Volunteers and Office Manager Joanna Vasquez JOANNA VASQUEZ – Director of Operations
Overseeing office operations and staff; direct recruiting/staffing/dispatching of volunteer delivery persons; recording daily activity of meal delivery.
Meals On Wheels West Development Director Ellen Rabin ELLEN RABIN – Development Director
Writing grants to government, foundations, and corporations; overseeing major gift and annual campaigns; and coordinating special events. Also responsible for all publishing of printed materials used in marketing and fundraising.
angela ANGELINA HOWE – Client Coordinator
Communicating with all potential and current clients. This includes performing client intakes, eligibility evaluations, and satisfaction surveys; meal and route coordination; and client tracking.
